XGZP6897D

This product is still in development

The XGZP6897D is an i2c differential pressure sensor from CFSensor. There are many variants available with varying pressure ranges. The breakout board uses the Sparkfun Qwiic connector system. It works with 3.3V and 5V logic levels, allowing it to work with most microcontrollers.

We sell 3 versions of this product:

VersionInstalled SensorRangePrice

Custom versions are available upon request, lead times will vary and make take up to 12 weeks depending on component availability.

Usage #

Functionality #

The XGZP6897D works by measuring the difference in pressure between the 2 ports. There is a “high pressure” and a “low pressure” port. While the 2 versions we sell are symmetric in their pressure range, so the direction doesn’t matter as much, there are non-symmetric versions of this sensor where it will matter. It is good practice to connect the ports properly to ensure there are no issues.

Warnings #

Depending on the version you purchase, it is important to make note of the Over Pressure and Burst Pressure tolerances. While exceeding the Over Pressure tolerane is probably fine, exceeding the Burst Pressure will result in damage to the sensor.

  1. All other components are populated on the board except for the sensor, you just need to provide your own sensor. ↩︎
